Rufus, a shy, lost and lonely little dog, finds friendship and helps the audience learn about individuality.

Fun for the whole family ages 3 and up, from acclaimed local puppet company, Blue Sky Puppets.

Blue Sky, based in University Park, has been one of the finest touring children’s theatres on the East Coast since 1974. Each of their 1,000 shows a year are dedicated to excellence in theatre, art, education and fun.

Description: Under the direction of former Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey, Circus performer Greg May, the young performers of the Greenbelt Youth Circus will astound you with their new full-length circus show, inspired by popular games. Single-point and fabric trapeze, juggling, unicycling, stilt-walking, tumbling and clowning are all on display when this talented troupe takes to the ring to entertain you.

Wendy Darling loves to tell stories to her brothers, Michael and John. But when her father announces she must move out of the nursery, Peter Pan comes to visit the children and whisks them away to Never Land. Their adventure introduces them to the Lost Boys, Mermaids, Indians and even the infamous pirate, Captain Hook!

Produced by special arrangement with MTI. Performances run weekends from Friday August 1, 2014 through Sunday August 24, 2014 with Friday and Saturday evening performances at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 for general admission.
