This is the performance for the Teen Summer Shakespeare Intensive camp.
Love, laughter and lies collide in what is arguably Shakespeare’s greatest rom-com! Much Ado About Nothing takes us on a romp through the juxtaposed romances of two sets of lovers — Beatrice and Benedick, who give us some of Shakespeare’s most sparkling battles of wits (and wills!) – and Hero and Claudio whose quiet adoration leaves them vulnerable to the scheming machinations of the villainous Don John. As these romances build, we watch it all through a tapestry of misunderstandings, mistaken identities, deceptions, pure villainy, and some of the goofiest clowns in Shakespeare’s comedic repertoire. But never fear – despite the interweaving of tragic elements, our lovers’ paths culminate in a celebration where love conquers all!

Nutcracker Ballet Story Time at College Park Arts Exchange, Dec 10
Nutcracker Ballet Story Time

Join The Berwyn Ballet School for this free, family friendly holiday event! Listen to a reading of The Nutcracker with the enchanting Sugar Plum Fairy, and see dancing Candy Canes and other characters from the Land of the Sweets, set to live music! Children under age 12 will get to meet and take pictures with their favorite Nutcracker character. Tickets to this event are free to the public and delicious Nutcracker treats will be available for purchase. Doors open 30 minutes prior to showtime for seating, mingling and bake sale. Seating is limited, so be sure to secure your spot. Book free tickets at http://www.berwynballetschool.com. Special thanks to the College Park Arts Exchange for sponsoring this event and to the City of College Park for additional funding of this event in effort to provide accessibility of the arts in the community.
