The School For Super-Heroes Presents Orlando Furioso, The Musical is about a group of students who don’t feel like they fit in at a high school for super-powered teenagers, due to their offbeat powers. Drawing on their combined abilities, the group decides to produce the most ambitious high school musical in history, based on a rollicking 16th-century fantasy epic that puts the King Arthur legends to shame. The result surprises them all and just maybe saves the world! Who could resist a musical that combines super-powers with dashing knights, powerful wizards, and warrior damsels?
Tickets: $5; advance sales (highly recommended) at (301) 397-2208, starting February 4

2026 Prince George’s Shakespeare in the Parks presents As You Like It
Description: Join Shakespeare in the Parks for Shakespeare’s comedy: As You Like It
Get ready for another summer of Shakespeare in the Parks! The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Division proudly presents the 2026 Shakespeare in the Parks Tour, bringing a professional, FREE, and family-friendly theatrical experience to parks throughout Prince George’s and Montgomery counties. This beloved annual tradition invites audiences of all ages to enjoy the magic of live performance in the beauty of the outdoors.
This summer’s featured production is As You Like It, one of William Shakespeare’s most delightful comedies. Filled with mistaken identities, witty banter, music, romance, and playful adventure, the story follows Rosalind and her companions as they flee to the Forest of Arden, where love is tested, friendships are forged, and everyone discovers that life can be sweeter when we embrace joy, freedom, and being true to ourselves. Charming, humorous, and full of heart, As You Like It offers a whimsical celebration of love and laughter perfect for the whole family.
Note: For outdoor performances, please bring a lawn chair or blanket for seating and comfort. Picnic meals are encouraged, and this pet-friendly production welcomes your furry companions.
Note: The Publick Playhouse is an indoor venue and therefore seating is limited. Doors will open one hour prior to the performance; seating is first come, first served.
