Spring Camp Details:


2017 Spring Circus Camp with the Greenbelt Recreation Department, Apr 17-Apr 21

Location: Greenbelt Community Center Gymnasium

Join former Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus performer Greg May for a fun-filled spring break and learn how to juggle, walk on stilts, balance on a rolling globe or balance board and more! Campers are safely taught at their individual skill level. They will demonstrate their new skills in a performance on Friday afternoon at 2:30pm. Campers must bring a non-perishable lunch each day.

Dates: April 17 – April 21, 2017. Time: 8:45am to 3:30pm.
Fees: Residents $194, Non-Residents $232.

2017 Spring Teen Theater Skills Workshop at the Huntington Community Center, Mar 3-Jun 19

M-NCPPC Theater Skills Workshop for ages 10-15

Fridays, 7pm to 9pm and Mondays, 6pm to 8pm, March 3 to June 19, 2017

Location: Huntington Community Center, 13022 8th Street, Bowie MD.

Learn how to stage a play, including acting, stage design, stage presence, and costume design. Present it to family and friends at the end of the camp session.

Ages 10 yrs. – 15 yrs.

No fee: free course.

M-NCPPC Adult Drama Class for ages 16+

Saturdays, 11am to 1pm, March 11 to April 29, 2017

Study and discuss a play, explore character development. Learn memorization and improvisation skills.

Spring Break Camp

Location: Joe’s Movement Emporium

Ages 4 – 13.

April 17 – 21, 2017

Cost: $225

A world filled with games, art, crafts and fun ideas is waiting for participants to experience creativity from many perspectives during the day. Spring Break campers will explore a Spirit Week filled with teamwork movement activities, scavenger hunts, games, and the piñata making process. Every day will have a different theme.

THEMES:
Monday: Crazy socks or crazy hats
Tuesday: Crazy hair
Wednesday: Book Character
Thursday: Twin, Triplet, Quadruplet
Friday: Face paint – inside out day
