When he is lured on a quest to confront the hideous Gorgon, Perseus receives three magical gifts: a sword, a shield, and a veil of invisibility. By using the gifts in unexpected ways, Perseus discovers the monster’s secret – and his own. Mythologist Edith Hamilton called the story of Perseus and the Gorgon the most fairytale-like of the Greek myths. Our 2014 production will feature all the romance, magic, and adventure of a classic fairytale, enhanced by design elements influenced by the culture and art of India.
