Based on the Prince George’s County family whose story inspired the book and film “The Exorcist,” this rock opera follows the path of Roland – a boy gone “strange” whose mother, local priest, and psychologist decide to put him and his demons through the formal Catholic rite of exorcism. Experience William Shakespeare’s classic As You Like It, adapted and directed by Eleanor Holdridge, who returns to the UMD School of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies after leading a workshop on Sarah Ruhl’s Orlando in 2021 and directing the production of The Call in 2016. What happens when Rosalind and her cousin escape into the forest to find her love Orlando? Disguised as a boy shepherd, the cheeky Rosalind convinces Orlando to woo her. Find out the hilarious consequences in this timeless tale of love and adventure.

Around the World in 80 Days is Jules Verne’s classic tale of action, adventure, comedy and drama. Phileas Fogg bets that he can travel around the world in 80 days, and sets off that very night accompanied by his French servant Passepartout. As they travel, they interact with the people they meet along the way, accumulate additional traveling companions, and have dramatic adventures. The story includes ships and trains, snakes and an elephant, disguises, duels and deceptions!

An emotionally powerful and intimate musical about two New Yorkers in their twenties who fall in and out of love over the course of five years, the show’s unconventional structure consists of Cathy, the woman, telling her story backwards while Jamie, the man, tells his story chronologically; the two characters only meet once, at their wedding in the middle of the show.
