A melanated fable of a woman reclaiming her own

BSU Theatre turns to a complex ancient tale of betrayal and revenge in a new devised adaptation of Medea. Though guilty of heinous crimes, this story explores societal permissiveness and forgiveness extended to men which would drive women to do the unimaginable. A blend of contemporary language, movement and aerial choreography, Medea explores the many layers of the mind and a broken heart.

When Aliens Fall from the Sky is the long-awaited return to the stage of Tony Award winning poet and performance artist Lemon Andersen. He spits searing, insightful rhymes about the communities that are the bone marrow of our nation. Brown fisted, black skinned.
