“William Leary and the talented members of the Wolf Pack Theatre Company have taken one of the most well-known holiday stories, brought it into the present time by exploring contemporary social and political issues, and added familiar songs of the season to create a brilliant version of A Christmas Carol” – Paul M. Bessel and Barbara Braswell, DC Metro Theater Arts

Based on the Charles Dickens classic tale, this unique and moving musical theatre adaptation is like nothing you’ve seen in the hundreds of film, television or stage adaptations available. The poverty and indifference to human suffering is skillfully portrayed in this present day drama as Bob Cratchitt, young Tim and the rest of the Cratchitt family deal with the loss of their home and subsequent shelter stay due to Tim’s illness, low wages and the high cost of health care. While the story structure follows Dickens original work, there are plenty of creative twists in store and both young and old will be delighted by this beautiful and thrilling adaptation!

Starring 2015 DC Metro Theater Arts ‘Best Actor in a Leading Role’ Tim Jansen as Ebenezer Scrooge this is one production you will not want to miss!

Expectation is actors will be off book by end of January. If you have questions prior to the audition please contact John D’Amato at john_damato@hotmail.com
