Described by critics as having “the zip and zingy humor of classic television situation comedy and the absorbing narrative propulsion of a juicy soap opera,” and recently a movie starring Meryl Streep, this intense drama follows an Oklahoma family as they struggle with addiction, sickness, and their own histories while still managing to find the humor in life.
