This imaginative retelling of the holiday classing will incorporate choreography in a variety of styles, including ballet, jazz, contemporary, ballroom and tap. Greenbelt Dance Studio, a program of the Greenbelt Department of Recreation, presents an original production inspired by Lewis Carroll’s children’s book, Alice in Wonderland. The show features a range of dance styles including ballet, jazz, tap and contemporary, performed by a talented cast of dancers from elementary through high school. This performance commemorates the 80th anniversary of the first children’s dance recital presented in Greenbelt in December 1938.
