WonderWorks presents “Secret Life Under the Stairs,”

Description: WonderWorks is a new professional theater company at Bowie State University that produces shows for young audiences. Directed by Bob Bartlett, “Secret Life Under the Stairs” is a play about making friends and exploring an imaginative world.

Location: Black Box Theatre, Fine and Performing Arts Center, Bowie State University.

Cost: $3 for children; $5 for BSU faculty, staff, students and senior citizens; $10 general admission

A Mile in My Shoes at Bowie State University, Sept 19-20

BSU Theatre presents a staged reading of the new children’s play, “Mile in My Shoes,” by Jennifer L. Nelson.

Location: Black Box Theatre, Fine and Performing Arts Center, Bowie State University.

Thursday and Friday, September 19 and 20 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm

Cost: $3 for children; $5 for BSU faculty, staff, students and senior citizens; $10 general admission

Nelson, one of the foremost playwrights and theater administration in the Washington, D.C. area. There will also be a preview reading of “Secret Life Under the Stairs,” another play for young audiences.
