Irving Berlin’s White Christmas is a holiday romance based on the 1954 movie, featuring the songs “The Best Things Happen When You’re Dancing,” “Count Your Blessings,” “I Love a Piano,” and (of course!) “White Christmas.”

MAD Improv Workshop

Tuesday, July 15, 2025, from 5:30pm to 6:30pm

Location: Goddard Space Flight Center’s MAD Theater.

MAD will hold an Improvisation Workshop on Tuesday, July 15 from 5:30 to 6:30 in the Building 3 auditorium. The workshop will be taught by Erin Smith. Erin has been improvising with Washington Improv Theater since 2015. The workshop will include instruction, improv games, short-form and long-form improv scenes. The workshop is geared toward having fun and building skills, including communication tools and techniques that are as useful in real life as they are on stage. Improvisers of all experience levels are invited to participate. The workshop is open to MAD members and guest participants. MAD’s 2025 Summer Children’s Program:
The Garden Show

The program is open to children ages 5 to 12, and meets Wednesdays from 5:30pm to 6:30pm, July 2 through August 6. There will be a performance on Sunday, August 10. All children who come to the first rehearsal are guaranteed a role. Sign up by clicking here before the first rehearsal.

The Garden Show is an educational musical recommended for children in elementary school. While on their way to a wedding on Planet Chlorophyll, aliens run out of fuel and are forced to land on Earth. They must explore a garden to find an alternative fuel source if they want to get home, but they’ll need plenty of help to send them on their way!

All children who come out to the first rehearsal are guaranteed a role. Rehearsals will take place in the Building 3 Auditorium on Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30pm, July 2nd to August 6th with a performance date of August 10th. Audience members without NASA employee badges will need to purchase their tickets by Wednesday (5/14 for weekend 1 and 5/21 for weekend 2) to get special event badges (to be picked up at the NASA badging office prior to coming on Center for the show)
