The Coil Project announces open auditions for Stonefish, a new play by Erica Smith, directed by David Dieudonne.

Audition location and times: 4301 Connecticut Avenue NW, Suite 100, Washington DC

Monday, October 14, 2019 and Tuesday, October 15, 2019, from 7 pm to 10 pm

The building is immediately outside the Van Ness metro station (between CVS and Giant). Street parking is available.

Show location and times: Greenbelt Arts Center, 123 Centerway in Greenbelt, MD, January 4, 5, 11, 12, 2019, at 8 pm, and January 6 and 13, 2019, at 2 pm.

Seven people are dead by Dixon’s hand, including Dixon himself. Now, as his twin sister Mason deals with the aftermath of what he’s done, she must decide how to move on without him, and whether she can — or should — forgive him.

Spring Awakening is a rock musical based on the 1891 German play Spring Awakening by Frank Wedekind. Set in late-19th-century Germany, the musical tells the story of teenagers discovering the inner and outer tumult of teenage sexuality. In the musical, alternative rock is employed as part of the folk-infused rock score.

Auditions for The Toxic Avenger will be held at the theater on Tuesday August 21 and Wednesday August 22, at 7:00 PM. Callbacks on Thursday August 23, if needed. Directed by Jeffery Lesniak with choreography by Heather Harris, this musical version of the classic cult movie of the same name is sure to please!

Prepare a song in the style of the show, bring sheet music, an accompanist will be provided. Come dressed for movement. Auditions may also include readings from the script. Rehearsals will be held Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and Saturday mornings. Performances are November 2-24 (closing on Thanksgiving weekend). Be ready to provide a list of all conflict dates.

Performances are scheduled to run from November 2-24, 2018.
