Description: Told from the perspective of four aging black men that time seemed to have forgotten, one unforeseen event caused them to elevate themselves to neighborhood champions. Named after one of Washington, DC’s famous neighborhoods, the Dupont Circle Heroes experience dramatic events that include racial conflict and wrongful imprisonment.

Auditions for Death by Design, by Rob Urbinati, will be held at the theater, on Tuesday, August 26 and Wednesday, August 27, at 7:00. Callbacks, if needed will be Thursday, August 28. Director Ann Lowe-Barrett is casting 4 men and 4 women, ages 20-70.

Rehearsals are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights.

Performances run November 7-23.

All roles are open and unpaid.

Description: Under the direction of former Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey, Circus performer Greg May, the young performers of the Greenbelt Youth Circus will astound you with their new full-length circus show, inspired by popular games. Single-point and fabric trapeze, juggling, unicycling, stilt-walking, tumbling and clowning are all on display when this talented troupe takes to the ring to entertain you.

Description: Rome’s aloof and scholarly Chief Rabbi Zolli receives asylum in the Vatican and converts to Roman Catholicism in 1944. A Nazi and a priest also convert to new religions. Why did these three men convert? Does forgiveness play a role? Why do they clash both before and after the conversions?
