The greatest show in Prince George’s County! Now in its 3rd year, the Greenbelt Youth Circus is directed by Greg May, former Ringling Brothers and Barnum Bailey clown, now of Center Ring Circus School. The multi-talented children of PG County put on a fantastic show with fabric trapeze, stilts, juggling, tight-rope walking, unicycles and clowning.

As You Like It, Camp Encore at the Greenbelt Arts Center, July 11 at 4pm

As You Like It

by William Shakespeare with music by Chris Cherry and Kate Magill.

Produced by the City of Greenbelt’s Recreation Department summer camp program: Camp Encore, at the Greenbelt Arts Center.

July 11 at 4pm.

Directed by Kate Magill.

Performed by the teens who participated in Camp Encore, this version of Shakespeare’s comedy is enhanced by music, dancing and stage combat.

Auditions for Avenue Q at the Greenbelt Arts Center, July 14-16

Auditions for Avenue Q will be held at the Greenbelt Arts Center, on Sunday, July 14, and Monday, July 15, at 7:00, with callbacks (if needed) on Tuesday, July 16. Please prepare a song (preferably from a recent musical). Bring sheet music, a pianist will be available. Auditions will also consist of readings from the script with puppets, and a brief dance routine. Performances run October 4 through 26. All roles are open and unpaid.
