Greenbelt Recreation’s Dance Performance Club presents an imaginative telling of the classic Hans Christian Andersen tale. Enjoy ballet, jazz, contemporary, ballroom and tap performances by dancers ages 6 to adult. See this unique performance by students of the Greenbelt Dance Studio, a program of Greenbelt Recreation. The Seton Theatre Company is excited to celebrate storytelling with this rousing Calypso-flavored tale of one small girl who finds love in a world of prejudice, “Once on This Island,” on Friday April 12th at 7:00 pm and Saturday, April 13th at 2:00 pm & 7:00 pm in the Mahler Center for the Performing Arts at Elizabeth Seton High School.

The Greenbelt Dance Studio, a program of Greenbelt Department of Recreation, presents an original production of Hans Christian Anderson’s The Snow Queen. The inspiration for the movie Frozen, The Snow Queen tells the story of a brave young girl who rescues her best friend from the clutches of the cold-hearted Snow Queen. Our production features a talented cast of over twenty performers ages 5 and up performing a range of dance styles including ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary and more.
