But when the siblings let their secret run wild, they discover the real monsters to be the naysayers who mock them. Adapted from Conan O’Doyle’s eponymous silent film, The Lost World explores the ugly phases of adolescence, the treacherous task of preserving our imaginations and the primordial struggle between chaos and control.
