UpSpring Studio: Within and Without
Sunday, June 3rd at 4 pm

Location: Joe’s Movement Emporium

Within and Without: aerial reflections on what holds us together and splits us apart. What is it that holds us together and splits us apart? Using dance trapeze, hammock, and aerial fabrics, eight aerialists explore the borders and boundaries in and around themselves.

This performance features new work by students and instructors from UpSpring Studio at Joe’s Movement Emporium. More information about UpSpring Studio can be found at upspringstudio.com.

Tickets: $23 adult, $17 students/seniors, Children 2 and under free in an adult’s lap (credit cards incur no additional fees).

UpSpring Studio presents POP!

Location: Joe’s Movement Emporium

POP! In this aerial dance production, UpSpring Aerial Lab uses pop art as inspiration for new work in aerial fabric, aerial sling, dance trapeze, mini lyra, and poi.

Featuring work inspired by Andy Warhol, Marisol, Roy Lichtenstein, May Wilson, Claes Oldenburg and more.

Join us Sunday, June 4th, 4pm at Joe’s Movement Emporium. Intermission refreshments for sale by Mt. Rainier PTO. All proceeds from refreshments sale benefit arts education in Mt. Rainier Elementary School.

Ticket proceeds enable UpSpring Studio to purchase new equipment to keep our students safe. Past ticket sales have supported the purchase of crash mats, rigging hardware, aerial fabrics, and more. We are grateful for your support!

What would you do in an apocalypse? UpSpring Aerial Lab explores how individuals respond to the end of the world. Featuring performances in aerial fabric, trapeze, poi, and more.

Mount Rainier Elementary PTO will sell concessions before the show and during intermission to raise money for arts programs at the school.
