Around the World in 80 Days by MAD, Nov 5, Online

by Jules Verne and Adolphe d’Ennery

directed by Jon Gardner
produced by Eliot Malumuth

Performances: November 5, 2022, at 8pm, Online

Location: Goddard Space Flight Center’s MAD Theater.

Around the World in 80 Days is Jules Verne’s classic tale of action, adventure, comedy and drama. Phileas Fogg bets that he can travel around the world in 80 days, and sets off that very night accompanied by his French servant Passepartout. As they travel, they interact with the people they meet along the way, accumulate additional traveling companions, and have dramatic adventures. The story includes ships and trains, snakes and an elephant, disguises, duels and deceptions!

Tartuffe, presented by MAD, Apr 30, Online

Goddard’s Music and Drama Club presents:
An online public reading of:
Tartuffe
By Molière
Directed by Randy Barth

Saturday, April 30, 2022, 8pm, live online

Location: Goddard Space Flight Center’s MAD Theater, online.

Molière was a poet and Tartuffe was written in verse in French. We will use the English translation available at Project Gutenberg which is also in verse. This will be an interesting departure for us from past works, though when you think about it, it is somewhat like musical theater. It will be a new challenge but once again our goal is to have fun participating.

Performance will be live online. Click here.
