Auditions will be held at the Kenhill Center, 2614 Kenhill Drive, Bowie, MD 20716, Room 124 on Monday and Tuesday, August 13th and 14th, 2018, with a possible call-back on August 15th, from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. Rehearsals will be held at a local church in Bowie, MD on Tuesdays and Thursdays with a third day added as rehearsals progress. Performances are scheduled to run from November 2-24, 2018.

A Piece of My Heart provides an absorbing and moving experience about a tumultuous period in American history—the Vietnam War. It is a powerful, true drama about six women who went to Vietnam: five nurses and a country western singer booked by an unscrupulous agent to entertain the troops. The play portrays the courageous story of each young woman as she struggles through the experiences that leave scars yet triumphs as a result of their tour through the war-torn nation. With the backdrop of the memorial wall in Washington, A Piece of My Heart is a salute to the men and women who represented our country during a divisive era.
