Dance Theater Intensive Camp Show

Location: Joe’s Movement Emporium

Participants will be actively immersed in the theater arts through technical training in dance, vocals, and spoken word. The 4-week theater experience will culminate with a performance that includes original work by students and material created by guest artists. Camp will culminate in a performance on: August 12 at 5:30pm. Tickets are $5 for adults.

Creative Cultures Camp Show

Children will deepen knowledge of African and Latin American cultures with daily drum, dance and vocal training. History, language, and traditional games are introduce to share the cultural continuum in our community. This camp culminates in a performance for families.

Description: Anne Lehmann and her family no longer feel safe in their Berlin home. Life in 1938 Germany is deteriorating quickly for the Lehmanns and all Jews living there. This gripping production about Anne and her family’s decision whether or not to send her on the Kindertransport is a tribute to the strength of the human spirit and the enduring power of a family’s love.
