Characters from Percy Jackson’s Greek Mythology textbook come to life as Percy tries to find Zeus’s stolen lightning bolt, settle a conflict on Mount Olympus, and solve the riddle of the Oracle.

Recommended for grades 2-6. Curriculum connections: Communication and Language Arts, Literature-Based, Music, Relationships and Family, Social Studies.

This new drama is by William Leary, author of DC Metro Theatre Arts ‘Best of 2014’ Masquerade, and the winner of a Maryland State Arts Council Individual Artist Award winner. The show looks at the lives of three young people; Audrey, the upper middle class young girl who is taken by a boy she’s met online, Samantha, a young girl from the projects whose mother is a drug addicted, alcoholic prostitute, and Alex, the young boy kicked out of his home due to his sexuality. Forsaken Angels is a graphic, hard hitting and honest look at the horrors of sexual trafficking in America today.

As the threat of nuclear extinction filters through the streets of New York, two men find themselves in an underground observatory wondering what they could have done different with their lives. If only they had one more chance to make things better.

How do you know when it’s time to call it quits? How can distance bring a perfect relationship to a crashing end? When mediocre painter Ben Schaffer takes the train to meet his academic activist girlfriend at a motel in Philly — he finds that things have changed. As old tiffs quickly turn into political and philosophical wounds — Ben and Lucille must confront the inevitable decay in their relationship, and the possibility of making a clean start.

Performances run weekends from Friday August 28, 2015 through Sunday August 30, 2015 with Friday and Saturday evening performances at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 for general admission.
