From the work songs of the fields of people who were enduring the bonds of slavery, to Ragtime, Jazz, R&B, and the inspired spirituals of the Civil Rights movement, this play follows the compelling story of the role that music played in the history of Black Americans. Meet incredible Americans like Scott Joplin, Billie Holiday, Little Richard and more in a tale that is sure to intrigue your students! Their lively, interactive beatboxing style teaches foundational phonics, counting, and music skills as they engage kids in musical fun! This show is recommened for children ages 3-12. This interactive show explores how light and sound move in waves. The Science Guys of Baltimore will demonstrate the different shapes and sizes of waves and how they affect light and sound. Kids will be laughing with the voice-changing amplifier, wowed by the laser show, and shocked with a super cool electrostatic generator. Educational content recommended for ages 5-12.
