Performances run weekends from Friday March 24, 2017 through Sunday April 16, 2017 with Friday and Saturday evening performances at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 for general admission. Baba Jamal Koram: The Story Man. Master storyteller Baba Jamal Koram shares the history, humor, music, and lore of African and African-American cultures. Blending traditional and contemporary storytelling techniques with drumming, movement, call and response, and playful wit, his stories encourage children to care for our earth and its animals and believe in the good in everyone. From beginning to end, audiences are inspired by these tales and have fun following Baba Jamal’s lead. Recipient of the Circle of Excellence Award, Baba Jamal has been featured at the National Storytelling Festival, Kennedy Center, Smithsonian museums, National Black Storytelling Festival, regional festivals, and schools nationwide.

Exciting science experiments from the lab of Professor Parsnip reinforce healthy habits and good character traits. Interactive and fun, this production features a lots of fun and interesting science experiments.

Recommended for Grades Pre-K – 5. Curriculum Connections: Literature, Mathematics, Reading
