Auditions for the World Premiere of The Honey Trap

Monday, January 14, 2019 at 7pm

Auditions for the world premier production of The Honey Trap, written and directed by by Michael C. Stepowany, will be held at the theater on Sunday January 13, and Monday January 14 at 7:00 PM, with callbacks on Tuesday January 15 at 7:00 PM.

Auditions will include cold readings from the script. Please provide a resumé and a headshot (if you have one) and have your conflicts handy.

Performances: April 26 – May 12, 2019

Location: Greenbelt Arts Center

A small 4th of July, 1957, “watch the atom bomb” party is gathering in a Las Vegas hotel room. Against the background of the “Rat Pack” and their music, The Honey Trap is a door slamming comedy. Just as the party begins, an F.B.I. agent arrives, chaos ensues, and the lives of everyone are forever altered.

Rehearsals will be Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings, weekends if needed, more often as tech and opening get closer.

The Missoula Children’s Theatre presents “The Snow Queen,” an original adaptation of the classic fairy tale. Although set in a “Land of colored ice,” this classic tale will warm your heart in its illustrative retelling by a group of fun-loving, imaginative hobgoblins. As they depict the journey of a young girl and her quest to find her best friend, you may find yourself believing in malevolent mirrors, yetis, talking reindeer and snow chickens! Blizzards can come at any moment, so strap on some snowshoes and get ready to discover what it takes to overcome chilling obstacles, keep resilience alive, and melt down the Snow Queen’s icy walls.

The Missoula Children’s Theatre provides two professional tour actor/directors, who will audition and cast 50 to 60 local elementary school children in this production on Monday, January 7, 2019. To participate, see the audition notice.

The Missoula Children’s Theatre provides two professional tour actor/directors, who will audition and cast 50 to 60 local elementary school children in a full-length, original musical production of “The Snow Queen.” Children must be at the John Addison Concert Hall by 4:30pm. Latecomers will not be admitted. Please wear comfortable clothing. All materials for song and movement auditions will be provided.
