My Life Has Been Like Water By Mark Costello

This multimedia project uses a live video loop that explores time as an architectural object; something to be controlled, built, expanded and repeated. Time as if it is poured like water: endless, flowing, emotional, momentous, pure.

untitled homage to my twenties in new york city By Kelly Colburn

A wild and nostalgic investigation of what it means to give up the thing you love most, this performance seeks to uncover what makes New York City exciting and enticing to the natives and the dreamers. Part documentary, part mockumentary, part dance, part theater, part film — this love letter explores the exhilaration, freedom, fear and regret of actively witnessing the death of your youth.

Prince George’s Little Theatre at the Bowie Playhouse

“The Univited”, written by Tim Kelly and directed by Keith Brown, will be PGLT’s third production of the 2016-17 season. Performances are April 28 – May 13, 2017 at the Bowie Playhouse.

Synopsis: Seeking to escape the demands of life in London, Pam Fitzgerald and her brother, Roddy, an aspiring playwright, discover a charming house on the west coast of England, overlooking the Irish Sea. The house, Cliff End, has long been empty, and they are able to purchase it at a suspiciously low price. The reason is soon apparent: The house has an unsavory reputation. Fifteen years earlier a murder may or may not have occurred by the gnarled tree that can be viewed from the parlor window. Slowly the Fitzgeralds begin to sense the evil spirit that still inhabits the house. With help, Cliff End is forced, at last, to reveal its dark secrets and the ghost is discovered to be not only real, but dangerous.

It’s 1932, and the famous Hollywood writer Ben Hecht has just finished his screenplay for a movie produced by Howard Hughes called SCARFACE, loosely based on the real life story of Al Capone. Hecht’s agent shows up at his Hollywood apartment to get the script, but it’s missing! Capone has sent a couple of his associates to have a little “talk” about the script with Ben. The action and dialog flies faster than bullets as Hecht tries to get the script back while dodging the gangsters, his agent, a blond starlet, a woman form the movie censor board, a drunk neighbor, and the house detective.
