The School For Super-Heroes Presents Orlando Furioso, The Musical is about a group of students with offbeat, not-so-superpowers who don’t feel they fit in at a high school for super-powered teenagers. Drawing on their combined abilities, they produce the most ambitious high school musical ever, based on a 16th-century fantasy epic that puts the King Arthur legends to shame. The result surprises them all and just maybe saves the world! Who could resist a musical that combines super-powers with knights, wizards, and warrior damsels?

Description: Arthur is a successful mystery writer whose latest work has strangely turned into a romance–a vivid and adulterous romance. His son, his second wife and his editor marvel at the truthfulness of the work, remarkable since it is inconceivable that he could ever have had such an affair. Enter a woman, who is intent on blackmail and whose story is foolproof and airtight: it appears that Arthur has been trysting away from home. Cunning, deceit and ingenious plotting twist and turn this thriller into a surprise ending—is this real or an act of his imagination?

In one corner is Daphna, a “Real Jew” who is volatile, self assured, and unbending. In the other is her equally stubborn cousin Liam, a secular and entitled young man, who has his shiksa girlfriend, Melody, in tow. Stuck in the middle is Liam’s brother Jonah, who tries to stay out of the fray. When Liam stakes claim to their grandfather’s Chai necklace, a vicious and hilarious brawl over family, faith, and legacy ensues.
