Everyone who enters theater must show their vaccination card and id. All actors and actresses must be fully vaccinated and show proof of vaccination. Masks are required by Prince Georges County.

Tickets must be purchased in advance. No walk ins. If you are part of a group, please have one member of your party purchase tickets for the whole group so that we may sit you together.

Set in the late 1800’s in England, young countryman Jack Worthing has decided to propose to the love of his life Gwendoline. The only problem is that she knows him by a false name: Ernest. Before he has a chance to come clean on the name Gwendoline reveals that she only ever truly love someone with the name Ernest. Jack then decides that the only way to win his true love is to head back to his estate and receive a new christening under the name Ernest. Things get complicated, high jinks ensue and a lot of fun is to be had in one of the greatest comedy of manners ever written!

Performances run weekends from Friday June 10, 2016 through Sunday June 26, 2016 with Friday and Saturday evening performances at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 for general admission. For the audition actors will be asked to perform an Oscar Wilde monologue. The monologues in question can be obtained by sending an email request to maureencrogers@gmail.com. Hard copies will also be provided at the auditions.

The show will be performed in an English dialect. However this is not required for the audition.
