This is a celebration for National Healthy Heart Month! This fun-filled performance entertains and educates children ages 3–12 years, and all who are young at heart. This is a wonderfully vibrant, interactive theatre production, makes achieving 60- minutes of daily physical activity and eating fresh fruits and vegetables easy and fun! Everyone learns awesome healthy living lessons from the class teacher Mr. Goodman Learner, the school Chef, Trya Veggeline, our grumpy Janitor, Mr. Ray-Monde and the renowned heart specialist, Dr. A. Little Shop of Horrors is a comedy horror rock musical, by composer Alan Menken and writer Howard Ashman, about a hapless florist shop worker who raises a plant that feeds on human blood and flesh. The musical is based on the low-budget 1960 black comedy film The Little Shop of Horrors, directed by Roger Corman. The music, composed by Menken in the style of early 1960s rock and roll, doo-wop and early Motown, includes several well-known tunes, including the title song, “Skid Row (Downtown)”, “Somewhere That’s Green”, and “Suddenly, Seymour”.

Performances run weekends from Friday April 24, 2015 through Sunday May 17, 2015 with Friday and Saturday evening performances at 8 p.m. Tickets are $22 for general admission.
