What happens when personal conviction clashes against state law? How do we bridge the ever-growing divide between law enforcement officers and the American communities they are charged with protecting? Acclaimed actors, police officers, local educators and concerned community members come together for dramatic readings and powerful gospel settings that bring to life Sophocles’ eternal Greek tragedy in Antigone in Ferguson – a ground-breaking social justice theatre project that aims to generate much-needed dialogue, to foster compassion and understanding, and to inspire taking positive action.

Saturdays 9am-1pm, February 2, 2019 to May 19, 2019

The Junior Academy of the Performing Arts (JAPA) introduces musical theater to students who have a talent and curiosity for the performing arts and strengthens their knowledge and skill level through the disciplines of singing, acting and dance.

Students will discover the very best of themselves and be encouraged to share their stories in their own unique way!

Winter/Spring Session
Registration is now open! The program is open to young performers ages 8 to 15. Whether a seasoned performer or new to the stage, all levels are welcome to join our team of rising stars!

Intensive program fee: $500 residents/ $650 non-residents
