When do the ends no longer justify the means? This is just one of the questions raised in Academy-Award winner Aaron Sorkin’s hit Broadway debut. A Few Good Men follows the court martial of two Marines in the summer of 1986, put on trial for the suspicious death of PFC William Santiago. Assigned to the case is Lt. Daniel Kaffee, a young JAG with a penchant for plea bargaining. Under pressure from Lt. Cmdr. Jo Galloway, Kaffee and the Defense find themselves uncovering a conspiracy, confronting the morality of war, and indicting the Marine Corps Code of Honor.

Married couples Karen and Gabe and Beth and Tom have been best friends for years, raising their children, sharing their summers at Martha’s Vineyard and dreaming how they will grow old together. Yet one evening at dinner, with Tom going out of town, Beth breaks down and tells Karen and Gabe that her marriage to Tom is falling apart. Unable to travel due to a storm, Tom finds out that Beth has broken the news without him, contrary to their agreement, and is furious. Tom visits Karen and Gabe and presents his side of the story. Now, each one now begins to wonder whether their lives were just lies, their relationships over, and their dreams only fantasies.

A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM
What fools these mortals be!
By William Shakespeare

Join director Kate Magill Robinson and the Camp Encore troupe leaders on an adventure of magic and mischief, set in the Forest of Athens, where Fools, Fairies and Folly abound! The script will use Shakespeare’s original language, combined with original music, movement, and stage combat. Teen actors will tell the story of two groups of mortals — the mismatched lovers and the hilarious amateur actors (the ‘rude mechanicals’) — who retreat to the forest, only to find it inhabited by a troupe of feuding and mischievous faeries. Will everything be set right before the royal wedding in the morning? Come find out, as we present one of Shakespeare’s most beloved comedies!

Description: The Presidential Election was More Barbaric in 1828 than 2016. The Eaton Woman is not well suited for people who hate gossip. But the play dispels any notion that Washington was once a kinder, gentler city. This historically based two-act dramedy is all about morals, adultery, lies, deception, women’s roles in Washington Society, the quasi downfall of the Jackson Administration, and the most beautiful woman in Washington history. Others say the most immoral and abrasive.

$20 adult, $16 senior/student/military, $14 youth
