Clarissa, wife of a diplomat, is adept at spinning tales of adventure but when a murder takes place in her drawing room she finds live drama much harder to cope with. Desperate to dispose of the body before her husband arrives with an important politician, she enlists the help of her guests. Hilarity ensues when they are interrupted by the arrival of wry detective, Inspector Lord.

Performances run weekends from Friday October 12, 2018 through Sunday November 4, 2018 with Friday and Saturday evening performances at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 for general admission. Venus Theatre: Living and Dying with Tricia McCauley, directed by Deborah Randall After a year and a half of PTSD recovery, Deb has begun to tell this story. Deciding not to allow the tragic loss of Tricia on December 25, 2016 to overshadow the brilliance of her spirit and vibrant life, Deb takes the stage. Tricia helped Deb develop several solo works over the 23 years of their friendship, Deb creates this one for her as an artistic monument to their joined laughter. Solo/Tribute piece.

A charming rogue who contrives to serve a short sentence in an airy mental institution rather than in a prison soon learns this was a mistake. He clashes with the head nurse, a fierce martinet. A battle of wills ensues between the rebellious McMurphy and the inflexible Nurse Ratched affecting all the ward’s patients.
