Auditions for The Importance of Being Earnest will be held on:
March 14, 2016 at 7:00 PM

Location: Laurel Mill Playhouse

For the audition actors will be asked to perform an Oscar Wilde monologue. The monologues in question can be obtained by sending an email request to maureencrogers@gmail.com. Hard copies will also be provided at the auditions.

The show will be performed in an English dialect. However this is not required for the audition.

In this hilarious Christmas classic, a couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant is faced with casting the Herdman kids–probably the most inventively awful kids in history. You won’t believe the mayhem – and the fun – when the Herdmans collide with the Christmas story head on! This delightful comedy is adapted from the best-selling Young Adult book, and has become a holiday staple for groups across the United States! Features plenty of great roles for children and adults, a few favorite Christmas Carols, and a lot of laughs!

Produced by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc.. Performances run weekends from Friday December 4, 2015 through Sunday December 20, 2015 with Friday and Saturday evening performances at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 for general admission. Director Rocky Nunzio will be casting: 12 male and 15 female roles, ages 7 to 70.
