Description: Based on the novel by Margery Williams and illustrated by William Nicholson, this play for children tells the story of a stuffed rabbit’s quest to become real. It will be directed by Professor Gail Medford.

Location: Prince George’s Publick Playhouse

Description: Marge and Lola are two barnyard chickens on a mission to win the barnyard talent contest. First prize is two tickets to see the great Elvis Poultry in concert! But first, they must present a performance that will score higher than a flock of very talented ducks who seem to have the contest locked up. Can Marge and Lola face their challengers, against all odds, and win the talent contest?

Recommended for grades Pre-K – 2.

Description: Tom, a school teacher nervous about his first day of teaching, tries to relax by watching TV when various characters representing facets of his personality emerge from the set and show him how to win his students over with imagination and music, through such beloved Schoolhouse Rock songs as “Just A Bill,” “Lolly, Lolly, Lolly” and “Conjunction Junction.” Based on the Emmy-award winning series from the 1970s, Schoolhouse Rock Live! is lighting up stages everywhere bringing its infectious zest to a cross-generational audience.

Recommended for grades K-8. Curriculum Connections: Language Arts, History, Science, Math.

Tickets: Friday performance: $8/person, $6/groups of 20 or more; Saturday performance: $10/person
