Sunday at 2pm, May 18 & 25, 2014.

Description: The antics at the Wicksteed home are a satirical merry-go-round. Family, friends, and the sexual satisfaction of the “corpus” (body) are the ruling passions in the farcical comedy of ill-manners. Through a dance of mistaken identities and carnal encounters, one motto holds fast: “We whose lust lasts, lasts longest.”

The Fox on the Fairway by Prince George’s Little Theatre at the Bowie Playhouse, May 2-18

The Fox on the Fairway by Prince George’s Little Theatre at the Bowie Playhouse, May 2-18

By Ken Ludwig
Directed by John Degnan

Prince George’s Little Theatre at the Bowie Playhouse

May 2 to 18, 2014

Tickets: $20 Adults, $15 Seniors/18 & Under.

Description: A tribute to the great English farces, this hilarious romp takes audiences on a ride which pulls the rug out from underneath the stuffy denizens of a private country club. Filled with mistaken identities, slamming doors, and over-the-top romantic shenanigans, it’s a furiously-paced comedy that recalls the Marx Brothers’ classics. A charmingly madcap adventure about love, life and man’s eternal love affair with … golf.
