School of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies will host Subverting Academia and Subversive Academics, Saturday, March 7, 2015.

This interdisciplinary symposium aims to offer an opportunity for scholars and artists to engage subversion’s multiple meanings and uses in research, artistic practice, scholarship and pedagogy.

The stars of 2nd Star will be presenting a review of the best musicals of all time, with selections from shows that have won the “Best Musical” Tony Award, starting with our summer musical “Kiss Me, Kate” which won the first “Best Musical” Award in 1949. Come and enjoy an evening of some of your favorite musical theatre tunes through time!

Tickets are $20 in advance, suggested $20 donation at the door.
