Description: The jack-of-all trades, Bert, introduces us to England in 1910 and the troubled Banks family. Young Jane and Michael have sent many a nanny packing before Mary Poppins arrives on their doorstep. Using a combination of magic and common sense, she must teach the family how to value each other again. Mary Poppins takes the children on many magical and memorable adventures, but Jane and Michael aren’t the only ones she has a profound effect upon. Even grown-ups can learn a lesson or two from the nanny who advises that “Anything can happen if you let it.”

Are You My Mummy?

A reception in Exhibit Hall of the University of Great Bridge has been held to honor and celebrate Doctor Harley Diggs’ discovery of the Mystery Mummy, which sports the Star of Egypt Diamond in a rare headpiece. Dr. Diggs unearthed the Mystery Mummy six months ago.

At 11:30 at night, the power goes out! The beam of a flashlight shines in the darkness, illuminating Dr. Diggs, now lying dead on the floor – an ancient Abyssinian dagger in his back! Once the lights are back on, another discovery is unearthed – the disappearance of the Star of Egypt Diamond, missing from the headpiece worn by the Mystery Mummy – a diamond worth twelve million dollars!

The old saying goes “Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer.” What unfortunate bad advice for the now-dead Dr. Diggs. For Dr. Diggs shared the head table this evening with other noted archaeologists and guests – all of whom were his enemies!

Synopsis: A church Christmas program spins hilariously out of control in this Southern farce about squabbling sisters, family secrets, a surly Santa, a vengeful sheep and a reluctant Elvis impersonator. It’s Christmas time in the small town of Fayro, Texas, and the town not exactly in a festive mood. The hot-flash-suffering Honey Raye Futrelle is desperately trying to keep the Tabernacle of the Lamb’s Christmas Program from spiraling into chaos as the rest of the citizens of Fayro spin out of control. Things are not looking too promising. This hilarious holiday journey through a misadventure-filled Christmas Eve is guaranteed to shake the mistletoe and bring a smile to your face.
