Description: Large than life theater producer Oscar Jaffe finds that the movie star whom he promoted for Broadway stardom years earlier is on board the same train as he is. He tries to lure her away from Hollywood (and her new love interest) to save his floundering career. Other passengers on the train provide multiple comic subplots for a screwball comedy set in the 1930s.

Synopsis

Marjorie Taub is your stereotypical Upper West Side society wife. Married to a successful doctor, her life is a non-stop whirl within the arts world: meeting artists at the Whitney, high profile openings at the Met, and performances at BAM. Marjorie’s seen and done it all, but a mid-life crisis is just waiting to happen. When an old childhood friend suddenly reappears in Manhattan, Marjorie is shaken out of her safe and staid world and into experiences she never expected. Read more.
