Debbi Morgan played the role of Angie Baxter-Hubbard on the ABC soap opera, All My Children, for which she was the first African American to win the daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. In this one-woman show based on her first book, The Monkey on My Back: A Memoir—Breaking A Generational Curse, Debbi breaks her silence on her family’s struggle with domestic violence. Share in Debbi’s struggles and triumphs in this moving and powerful show and during a book signing immediately following the performance.

M-NCPPC has partnered with Bowie State University to offer community arts classes and performances at Bowie State University’s Fine and Performing Arts Center.
