Who am I? What am I? THIS LITTLE LIGHT explores the life of the same person over 400 years through the meandering mind of a Millennial who is waking for the first time to her human needs for meaning and understanding.

Jennifer Faletto’s plays include The Texas Homecoming Revolutionof 1995, f/k/a Bathroom Hate (2015 Reva Shiner Comedy Award finalist), Domestic Animals (2016 Woodward/Newman Drama Award finalist & 2016 O’Neill semifinalist) and This Little Light. Jennifer’s plays have been developed and produced at The Kennedy Center Page to Stage Festival, Amphibian Stage Productions, Palm Beach Dramaworks, The Blank, The Capital Fringe, The Great Plains Theatre Conference, Panndora’s Box, Best Medicine Rep and Short + Sweet. Jennifer studied at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in Sydney, Australia and holds a BFA in theatre performance from TCU. She is also a graduate of the Second City Conservatory (Chicago).

Auditions for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat will be held on:

Director Michael Hartsfield will be casting: 19 roles (men and women) plus ensemble. Be prepared to sing 16 bars from a Broadway show tune. Bring music for pianist, CD to play or sing without music. Dress comfortably for dance movement.

Performances are scheduled to run from April 27, 2018 to May 20, 2018.

Celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2018, sha la la Joseph you’re doing fine! You and your dreamcoat ahead of your time! One of the most enduring shows of all time, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is a reimagining of the Biblical story of Joseph, his father Jacob, eleven brothers and the coat of many colors.

Told entirely through song with the help of a main character Narrator, the musical follows preferred son Joseph. After being sold into slavery by his brothers, he ingratiates himself with Egyptian noble Potiphar, but ends up in jail after refusing the amorous advances of Potiphar’s wife. While imprisoned, Joseph discovers his ability to interpret dreams, and he soon finds himself in front of the mighty but troubled, Elvis-inspired, Pharaoh. Joseph’s solution to Egypt’s famine elevates him to Pharaoh’s right-hand man and reunites him with his family.

The magical musical is full of catchy songs in a variety of styles, from a parody of French ballads (“Those Canaan Days”), to country-western (“One More Angel in Heaven”) and calypso (“Benjamin Calypso”), along with the unforgettable classics “Any Dream Will Do” and “Close Every Door.”

Mortal of Grace is a drama, written in the style of Celtic myth, about a faerie princess who falls in love with a mortal. It tells of the reverberating impacts of their cursed love on the lives of the man’s sister and her descendants under the tyranny of a lord who has stolen the princess’ Grace to achieve immortality.

The performance will be given by the following cast of veteran actors: Chris Carothers, Sam David, Gary Eurice, Barb Gasper, Kyle Kelley, Matt Leyendecker, and Sharon Praetor.

About the Playwright –
Jeff Dunne is a playwright in the greater Baltimore area. A writer of music and fiction for over three decades, he turned to his attention to the stage in 2011 to align his passion for writing with that of acting. Over the next five years he produced several one-act plays for youth that were performed at libraries and children’s hospitals. In 2015 he completed his first full-length play, which received such positive feedback and recognition in festivals in 2016 that he began writing much more actively. In 2017, Jeff produced three more full-length plays, two one-acts (one for stage, one for radio), and eighteen shorter pieces. In the same year, his works won six awards from both community and professional theaters, and two of his full-length plays were selected by a Washington DC-based production company for adaptation to film. By the end of 2018, Jeff’s works will have had over fifty performances through twelve distinct productions.
