The Greenbelt Arts Center presents:
Ms. Story’s Living History
written and performed by Shemika Renee
directed by Rikki Howie Lacewell

February 16 – March 3, 2024

Location: Greenbelt Arts Center

Meet an eccentric bookstore owner who brings history to life. She tells the stories of people and their relationships, some of which may surprise you. Come meet women from the past, some famous (like Harriet Tubman or Sojourner Truth), others not so much, but all important because they lived. Each weekend is a new chapter. Come for one, two or all three, you’ll see something different each chapter. So take a journey and find out that history doesn’t have to be a mystery.

Content warning: “This show is about BIPOC women in American history. The subjects of enslavement and civil rights will be addressed in a compassionate manner suitable for all ages.”

Ticket prices: $24 General Admission, $22 Seniors/Military, $12 Student/Youth. Buy tickets here.
